frozen: movie review

Don’t let them in, don’t let them see Be the good girl you always had to be Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know Well now they know

Let it go, let it go Can’t hold you back anymore Let it go, let it go, Turn my back and slam the door And here I stand And here I’ll stay Let it go, let it go The cold never bothered me anyway

Honestly, Disney usually gets you so wrapped up in the beauty of the imagery and princesses, that you rarely notice when they start inserting propaganda into their songs.. However, this time around was quite different. I went to the theater last Wednesday and was so drawn in (like usual), in the beginning with the storyline, (which i won't reveal because of you who haven't watched it..cause you totally should..;)) cute characters, and spunky-ness of Anna. But when Elsa ran off, she became rebellious and basically a new person whilst singing the above song..

So every movie has a theme or two, and what I believe the theme was for this was true love.. "Well, obviously, like all disney princess movies," you're thinking. It's not the same kind of love that they usually used though..It's the deepness between the two sisters. The whole "greater love has no one than this, that he lay his life down for his friend. John 15) And i won't reveal the details, but this is really a beautiful story!

Yes, there are some parts propaganda, and attitude wise...but it really does have a good moral.

Have you seen it? Thoughts? Are you going to see it?

I really love to hear your thoughts, so tell me what you think!
